Dear Partner in Ministry:

A couple in our Marital Intimacy series wrote to us:

Our biggest problem was unresolved anger . . . and both holding tightly onto our hurts . . . We then shared our lists, prayed together and forgave one another . . . We truly feel like we are starting anew in our marriage.

Transforming men, their marriages, and their communities is the key focus of Real Men of Integrity. Since 1994, we have partnered with people just like you. And together, we are making a difference.

Working with local churches across the state of Nebraska, Real Men of Integrity has helped start men’s ministry groups in more than 40 churches, and trained more than 150 leaders. Real Men has coordinated several Building Brothers workshops in Lincoln and Scottsbluff, which have resulted in the formation of 10 small groups. Real Men has also facilitated marital intimacy training allowing couples to experience spiritual, emotional and physical oneness in their marriage.

Prayer is a big part of Real Men of Integrity. In this past year alone, Real Men has worked with Houses of Prayer Everywhere (H.O.P.E.) to hold prayer rallies and seminars for 25 churches in Lincoln and six churches in Kearney. Additional ones are planned for Scottsbluff and Hastings. Real Men has also sponsored three all-night and two half-night prayer meetings, as well as a weekly pastors’ prayer meeting.

In the next year, we have some aggressive -- yet very attainable -- goals. Like bringing the Gospel to every neighborhood by continuing to establish Lighthouses of Prayer in Lincoln, Kearney, Hastings and Scottsbluff. And bringing more Building Brothers workshops throughout Nebraska. We plan to continue expanding the monthly prayer meetings, weekly pastors’ prayer meetings, and marriage intimacy classes. We will also use our Journey to Make God's Story Ours curriculum to establish people in God’s Word.

But we need your help to achieve these goals!

While we fully trust in God, we also exist in a material world. And a reality of the material world is the need for financial resources to operate. That is why we look to people like you to advance the mission of Real Men of Integrity and achieving our goals.

Since its founding, Real Men of Integrity has demonstrated an ability to be a good steward of the financial gifts by those wishing to invest in this ministry. As your partner in transforming men, their marriages, and their community, I am personally asking for your help in providing for Real Men’s future. Your financial gifts, my full-time effort, and continued prayer will advance our shared vision.

We have an additional need of $3,000 monthly or $36,000 a year to meet our budget. If 100 people gave $360 each, the need would be met. Would you prayerfully ask the Lord what He would have you do? He rewards those who earnestly seek Him (Heb. 11:6)! Some of you may not be able to give that much and some of you will be led to give more. I will thank God for your answer, no matter what it is.

Sincerely in Christ,

Mark Pomeroy
