Dear Financial Partners,

Thank you so much for your financial support and prayers. Karen and I have been prayerwalking our neighborhood the last year. On July 19th, we had 12 couples sitting in our front yard enjoying a potluck meal. We went around the circle introducing ourselves and sharing one item of thanks. An officer presented the Neighborhood Watch program.

Why did I share all of this? I have learned that neighbors are interested in fellowship. God's desire is for all people to be saved and for all to "live peaceful and quiet lives in godliness and holiness" (I Tim. 2:1-2). We must pray, care and share so we can reach our neighbors with the gospel.

HOPE (Houses of Prayer Everywhere) Ministries recently asked if I could coordinate lighthouse of prayer seminars in Nebraska led by a HOPE representative in conjunction with Mission America. As a result, the following Lighthouse of Prayer Training Seminars are scheduled in the following Nebraska cities:

Participants will learn the following in these seminars:

We are continuing the monthly half-nights of prayer. The last one was July 21st at Gates of Praise called Embrace Lincoln Prayer Rally. It was a time of live worship and praise, reading seven chapters together in the John's gospel, devotion on repentance and unity followed by intercessions and time for fellowship. The four hours flew by. You are invited to the next all-city prayer meeting Fri., Sept. 29th, Christ Temple, 500 N. 25th (25th & S), from 8 p.m. to midnight.

Other Ministry Opportunities:

  • Train up men's ministry leaders within a local church -- possibly using Building Brothers material.

Thanks again for your partnership in the gospel.
