Dear Financial Partners,

Thank you so much for your financial support and prayers. Karen and I have been prayerwalking our neighborhood the last year. God has opened up opportunities to share the gospel with several neighbors. A couple of them asked if we could organize a neighborhood block party. I later learned that the last one was held in 1974.

On July 19th, we had 12 couples sitting in our front yard enjoying a potluck meal. We went around the circle introducing ourselves and sharing one item of thanks. An officer presented the Neighborhood Watch program. A major concern expressed by all the neighbors was an intersection where several had loved ones injured. I have talked to the Lincoln Traffic Dept. about putting up stop signs.

Why did I share all of this? I have learned that neighbors are interested in fellowship. God's desire is for all people to be saved and for all to "live peaceful and quiet lives in godliness and holiness" (I Tim. 2:1-2). We must pray, care and share so we can reach our neighbors with the gospel.

HOPE (Houses of Prayer Everywhere) Ministries recently asked if I could coordinate lighthouse of prayer seminars in Nebraska led by a HOPE representative in conjunction with Mission America. As a result, the following Lighthouse of Prayer Training Seminars are scheduled in the following Nebraska cities:

Participants will learn the following in these seminars:

On July 8th, the third Building Brothers workshop occurred in Lincoln where a process was modeled on how to establish a mission statement for your churches men's ministry. This phase follows after a safe environment promoting servanthood and grace has been established. This workshop gave men the tools to mold a strategy that fits with the unique dynamics, emphases and doctrines of their particular church so men could own it.

Thanks again for your partnership in the gospel.
