God is using the "Journey to Make God's Story Ours" to impact lives

Dear Partners in Ministry,

We are excited to hear how God is using our Journey to Make God's Story Ours. In addition to churches, other ministries such as Campus Life, Prison Fellowship, Parkview Christian School and an inner-city ministry in Omaha want to use the Guide as a discipleship tool. Holy Trinity Episcopal Church has also started a small group using the first module, "Fundamental Framework of the Bible" (enclosed brochure has excerpts from the Guide on How to Live the Christian Life.)

We are searching for additional ministries that focus on areas such as evangelism, discipleship, family, poor and needy, urban, and youth as potential users of the Guide that will become a "Partnership for Authentic Living."

The new board for Real Men of Integrity is working on a business plan to develop small group guides that create an open, trusting environment so dynamic life change can occur. A five-minute promotional video and 45-minute of the first session has been prepared. Call for more information.

Prayer Requests:

1.       Praise the Lord: God provided an opportunity to lead a husband and wife to Christ this past week in Bellevue. Pray for their spiritual growth. Holkeboer’s mentioned in this letter will work with them and invite to their class.

2.       Karen and I further our oneness with God and each another. Our three sons, Steve, Aaron and Tim, be revived in their passion for Christ.

3.       Karen started meeting weekly with Debbie, our next door neighbor, for Bible study. Pray for her salvation.

4.       God’s working in our current marital intimacy workshop at Berean.  Wisdom in expanding it into the African-American community as two leaders expressed an interest in being equipped.

5.       Wisdom and timely completion of the Journey to Make God's Story Ours business plan.

6.       Additional strategic partners to be part of the “Partnership for Authentic Living” along with Campus Life, Prison Fellowship, Parkview Christian School and inner-city ministries in Omaha and Lincoln.

7.       Additional financial investors for Real Men, Guide project and the other ministries listed in #6.

Thank you for your prayer and financial support. It is gratifying to know that you are partnering with us to challenge believers to live their lives for Christ. We want you to be aware of some serious financial needs. We are presently experiencing $1,800 shortfall in support EACH MONTH in order to meet our obligations as a ministry. This situation must not and can not continue. In addition, we have committed ourselves to develop 11 more modules over the next three years at a cost of $6,000.00 each over and above ongoing ministry needs.

Please consider making a generous, tax-deductible donation. We believe there is an urgent need within the Body of Christ for these materials and that God has raised us up for this purpose. Your gift of support would be an encouragement and will make it possible for us to continue the development of the Guide.

Sincerely in Christ,

Mark Pomeroy
